UDAN Spreads Wings: Budget 2024 Unveils 517 New Routes And 1,000+ Aircraft Orders

In a major announcement during the Interim Budget 2024, the Union government revealed a remarkable transformation in the aviation sector, showcasing a decade of unprecedented growth and development.

The past 10 years have seen a dynamic surge in the aviation landscape, with the number of airports doubling to a total of 149.

One of the standout achievements highlighted in the budget speech was the extensive rollout of air connectivity to tier-two and tier-three cities under the UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme.
