Aero India 2019, India’s biggest air show, is scheduled to be held between 20 and 24 February in Yelahanka, Bengaluru. More than 300 exhibitors are expected to participate in the defence exhibition, reports Hans India.

Top fighter-jet manufacturers and defence equipment companies, as well as the other sector related businesses are all set to participate in the event.

All operational activities like ticket booking and space selection for stalls have been made available online, a defence official stated. He added that even arranging business-to-business meetings and booking conference rooms can be done online.

The defence official said that even 50 days prior to the event start, they have 308 exhibitors, which include 178 domestic and 130 foreign companies. He added that the event has generated Rs 62 crore from bookings so far.

"There will be no cheque transaction for Aero India as all payments have been made online. The arrangements correspond to the best practices in the world," the defence official was quoted in the report as saying.

A mobile application app for Aero India 2019 will also be made available to guide the users about the event.

The “business days” tickets - 20, 21 and 22 February - will cost Rs 2750 each. Tickets for general visitors will cost Rs 1,800 and for air display, the charges will be Rs 600. Persons availing on-the-spot tickets will have to pay Rs 250 more, said the official.
