After Kiren Rijiju Moved From Law Ministry, S P Baghel Reassigned To Ministry Of Health And Family Welfare

After moving Kiren Rijiju from the Law Ministry, the Centre has transferred Professor S P Singh Baghel to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

A communique from the Rashtrapati Bhavan said President Droupadi Murmu, on the advice of PM Narendra Modi, has appointed Baghel, who was previously Minister of State in the Ministry of Law and Justice, as the new Minister of State for the Health Ministry.

Arjun Ram Meghwal's appointment as the Minister of State with Independent charge of the Ministry of Law and Justice necessitated this change.

A minister of state with independent charge normally does not have a deputy.
