Direct-to-home (DTH) operator has introduced a new multi-TV offer in the new TRAI mandated tariff regime, Telecom Talk reports.
Dish TV, is currently said to be the most favoured DTH operator in the industry thanks to the various offers discounts and price points its subscribers are enjoying.
Under the new multi-TV offer, Dish TV customers can opt for up to four multiple TV connections at their home while paying a flat Network Capacity Fee (NCF) of just Rs 50 for every secondary connection.
Users would be paying full subscription amount for the primary connections. However, for every other connection to it would means users pay a flat fee of Rs 50 only. Further, users would also have the option to mirror the parent connection channels or select different content.
Earlier Tata Sky, Airtel Digital TV and D2H had announced multiple connection plans under the new TRAI tariff regime.
Under these plans, subscribers would be able to avail discounts if they purchase more than one DTH connections for their homes, to operate on multiple television sets.
These new plans are a result of a TRAI clarification that the DTH operators can provide discounts on ‘network charges’ for customers buying more than one connection.
