With the national capital of Delhi set to undergo assembly elections in a matter of months, the incumbent ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by Chief Minister (CM) Arvind Kejriwal has roped in political strategist Prashant Kishor to manage the party's campaigning, reports Asian News International (ANI).

CM Kejriwal announced on Friday (13 December) that Prashant Kishor's Indian PAC has come on board with his party ahead of the crucial elections. Notably, in the previous edition of which in 2015, his party had performed a massive sweep by winning 67 of the total 70 seats.

It should be noted that Kishor has previously worked for Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi and Bihar's Chief Minister (CM) Nitish Kumar, and Punjab's CM Captain Amarinder SIngh, managing their poll campaigns in 2014 and 2015 and 2017 respectively.

Meanwhile, Kishor was also involved in managing the poll campaigning for Rahul Gandhi led Indian National Congress (INC) during the 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in which the party was nearly wiped out in the results.

Kishor is presently working with incumbent West bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress.
