Amit Shah Walks The Talk: Launches ‘Sampark for Samarthan’, A Massive Door To Door Outreach Programme

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah launched an outreach programme to mark the beginning of the fifth year of the Narendra Modi-led government. In New Delhi, Shah met former Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag at the launch of the massive nationwide campaign 'Sampark for Samarthan' (interaction for support). It is a door to door campaign meant to highlight the ideas, initiatives and achievements of the Modi government during its four years.

"As part of the ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ campaign, met former Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag ji at his home in Delhi to discuss and brief him on the several achievements and initiatives undertaken by Modi sarkar since it was voted to office four years ago," said his Twitter account. According to this report, Shah would personally meet 50 eminent personalities.

Shah also met former Secretary General of Lok Sabha, Subhash C Kashyap. His Twitter handle said, "Delighted to meet former Secretary General of Lok Sabha & expert on Constitution, Shri Subhash Kashyap ji, as part of the ‘Sampark for Smarthan’ abhiyan at his home in Delhi. Briefed him about the work done & historic initiatives undertaken by the Modi government in last four years."

During an interaction with the press at the launch of the programme, Shah mentioned  that selected 4,000 people from BJP will establish an interaction with one lakh people in the country, including leaders and intellectuals from all fields, artistes, religious leaders, experts on constitution, retired army personnel, film personalities, and others.

Around 50 lakh BJP workers will interact with the common man on the initiative and achievements that have taken place during the four years of Narendra Modi government. A special focus of this movement and mission will be in and on rural India.
