Andhra Pradesh: Seven Honey-Trapped Navy Personnel, Hawala Operator Sent To Judicial Custody For Espionage

The Andhra Pradesh (AP) Police on Friday (20 December) busted a major Pakistani espionage racket involving seven honey-trapped personnel from the Indian Navy and a hawala operator, reports News18.

The eight have been sent to judicial custody till 3 January as per the orders from a National Investigation Agency (NIA) court based in Vijayawada.

To bust the racket, State police in coordination with central and naval intelligence agencies launched Operation Dolphin's Nose and arrested the eight involved from different parts of the country.

The investigations in the case are still on as the Police continue to question more suspects who it believes to be involved in the racket.
