Amid the interrogation the two individuals arrested on charges of attacking Arnab and his wife have been granted bail by the Bhoiwada Court. Arnab has steadfastly maintained that the two are Youth Congress workers who had been directed by their higher ups to carry out the attack.
Arnab went in for the interrogation at 9.20 AM in the morning and only came out briefly for a couple of minutes before going right back in.
The Republic TV had reported yesterday (27 April) that the Mumbai police had sent Arnab two notices within a span of 12 hours seeking to immediately interrogate him over his comments against Sonia Gandhi.
Arnab was granted a three week protection from arrest by the Supreme Court in cases pertaining to his on-air criticism of Sonia Gandhi.
