Rajya Sabha bore witness to shameful scenes soon after Home Minister Amit Shah announced the abolition of Article 370 which provides a special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
PDP Rajya Sabha MP’s Mir Fayaz and Nazir Ahmed Lawa tried to tear the Indian Constitution to protest against the scrapping of Article 370 which irked Vice President Venkaiah Naidu who as a result made them leave the upper house. Reports claimed that the duo had to be physically removed from the house.
