The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is gearing up for the celebrations to be held between 10 October to 18 October for the upcoming Navaratri Brahmotsavam. TTD Executive Officer (EO) Anil Kumar Singhal conveyed the information to the pilgrims as a part of the ‘Dial your EO’ initiative on Friday (4 October), reported The Hans India.

He announced that all arrangements are being made for the smooth flow of the festival where the devotees will be seen in huge numbers as it coincides with the Dusshera holidays. Reduction in the number of tokens for the Divya Darshan and Sarva Darshan has also been announced by TTD. Same applies for the special darshan tickets which are priced at Rs 300 on weekends until 21 October.

All Arjitha Sevas and special darshans have been cancelled with an objective to ensure Srivari Darshan to the maximum number of devotees. Due to the rise in the number of visitors to Tirupati during the occasion, APSRTC will launch special services with more buses plying to meet the demand. Two-wheelers have been banned on the Ghat roads on 14 October as it is the Garuda Seva day.

Special parking facilities have been arranged near the Alipiri Gateway in Tirupati and Srivari Mettu near Srinivasa Mangapuram for the devotees. 3,000 volunteers and 1,000 scouts and guides will be present alongside TTD vigilance and police personnel to look after safety and security.
