Bihar: NDA Leads On 114 Seats With BJP As Single Largest Party, Mahagathbandhan Distant Second On 92

As per data released on the Election Commission website, the NDA is leading on 114 seats in Bihar Assembly Polls, as the BJP emerges as the single largest party in the state.

The BJP is currently leading on 60 seats, just ahead of RJD which is leading on 57 seats. Its alliance partner the JD(U) is leading on 49 seats. Their alliance partner Vikasheel Insaan Party is leading on five seats.

The RJD appears to be suffering due to the performance of the Congress which was given 70 seats as part of the power sharing pact. The Congress is leading on 19 seats.

The left parties - Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation), Communist Party of India (Marxist) and Communist Party of India - which are alliance partners of the Mahagathbandhan are leading on 15 seats.

The Chirag Paswan led LJP which had decided to go solo in the state polls, is leading on 5 seats.
