In a big potential upset for the AAP, the BJP is leading from Delhi’s Okhla constituency which has been home to the infamous Shaheen Bagh protests.
As per reports, BJP’s Braham Singh is leading against the controversial AAP leader Amanatullah Khan by a margin of around 250 votes.
The constituency is witnessing a triangular contest between AAP’s Khan, Congress’ Parvez Hashmi, and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)‘s Brahm Singh.
Amanatullah Khan has frequently been in the news for his Islamist remarks. He was recently accused of inciting violence during the anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) protests in Delhi NCR.
