BJP MP Dushyant Singh Attended Parliament After Party With Kanika Kapoor Who Has Tested Covid-19 Positive: Report

BJP’s Member of Parliament Dushyant Singh reportedly attended the budget session at the Indian Parliament a day after attending a dinner party in Lucknow which was reportedly hosted by Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor, India Today has reported.

Kapoor today (20 March) tested positive for coronavirus and has been placed in an isolation ward in the King George's Medical University in Lucknow. Kapoor who returned back from London on 15 March allegedly did not inform health authorities about her travel history.

She also allegedly failed to self-quarantine for 14 days as part of the mandated protocol. As per journalist Bhupendra Chaubey, some of the guests present in the party also attended an Uttar Pradesh government meeting.

Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje was also part of the dinner party. Both she and Dushyant Singh have entered self-isolation with immediate effect.
