CAA Rioters Throw Acid On Paramilitary Forces In Northeast Delhi’s Karawal Nagar: Report

Violent citizenship amendment act (CAA) protesters rioting in Delhi’s Karawal Nagar have thrown acid on paramilitary forces deployed to control the situation, Times Now has reported.

As per the report, the paramilitary forces while trying to enter colonies in the violence stricken areas were attacked with an acid like substance or a chemical which resulted in them suffering burn injuries. They were then taken to the GTB hospital for treatment.

The acid was reportedly thrown on Paramilitary forces from terraces while they were trying to control the situation.

The reporter claimed that the rioters are said to be well armed and continue to wreck violence in large parts of Northeast Delhi.

Just yesterday (24 February) a rioter named Shahrukh was caught on camera opening fire on a Delhi police constable who bravely countered him. Shahrukh was arrested by the cops today.

As per a statement by Delhi police one head police constable Rattan Lal lost his live, and 56 police personnel received injuries which include DCP Amit Sharma who suffered a serious head injury.
