An FIR has been filed against BJP youth leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga in Chhattisgarh over his tweet against Rajiv Gandhi in which he had called the latter a “mass murderer”.
The Youth Congress had posted on twitter yesterday (25 May) that its president Pankaj Wadhwani had filed a complaint against Bagga for “objectionable remarks against Rajiv Gandhi in an attempt to vitiate the communal atmosphere in the country”. The FIR has been filed in Kanker.

The FIR has been filed over Bagga’s 11 May tweet in which he had said, “I don't agree with @sambitswaraj Ji, He said Rajiv Gandhi killed 3000 people. I want to say it’s just official figure, unofficial figure is more than 5000. Rajiv Gandhi is Murderer”.
As per the FIR, Bagga has been booked under sections 153A, 505 and section 66A of the IT act.
Bagga though refused to back down and reiterated his allegation by quoting the Youth Congress tweet.
Rajiv Gandhi is Murderer, saying again. Do whatever you can.
