Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a virtual review meeting with over 40 districts with low Covid-19 vaccination coverage on Wednesday (3 November).
According to reports, the meeting will take place at 12 noon and many chief ministers are expected to attend it.
“PM will interact with District Magistrates of over 40 districts in Jharkhand, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, & other States with districts having low vaccination coverage. CMs of these States will also be present in the meeting tomorrow," PMO said, reports Livemint.
PM Modi returned to India on Wednesday after concluding five-day foreign tour of Italy and United Kingdom, where he enhanced India's self-declared renewable energy commitments at COP26 in Glasgow and outlined India's position on global issues at G20 Summit.
During his COP26 address on Monday, Prime Minister Modi announced five "amrit tatva" including the target to attain net-zero emissions by 2070.
He announced that India will increase its capacity of non-fossil energy capacity to 500 GW and meet 50 per cent of its energy requirements through renewable energy by 2030.
