The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to sweep through all the seven Lok Sabha constituencies in Delhi again, repeating its success from 2014 when it had captured all the seven seats in the capital city.

This comes as a major setback for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which had rocked the state with a sweep mandate of 67/70 seats in last assembly elections but the party seems unable to score a win in even one of the seven constituencies as per the trends so far.

The BJP is leading in all seven seats and the Congress party is trailing on five seats while the AAP is a distant third on those seats. The final results of the counting may vary, but the trends so far tell that the BJP has won the NCT of Delhi again.

In North East Delhi, BJP's Manoj Tiwari leading with 5,08,976 votes (55.53 per cent vote share). INC's Sheila Dikshit is trailing with 2,41,124 votes (26.31 per cent vote share). AAP's Dilip Pandey is third with 1,24,304 votes (13.56 per cent vote share). Star candidate Gautam Gambhir too is leading in the East Delhi seat with a margin of over 21,000 votes against AAP’s star candidate, Atishi Marlena.
