Having earlier lauded the Centre’s contribution towards reducing the pollution in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and Delhi Chief Minister (CM) Arvind Kejriwal has now lauded the new Motor Vehicles Amendment Act passed by the Centre.
"There has been an improvement in Delhi's traffic ever since the new Motor Vehicle Act has been implemented. If there is any clause due to which people are facing more problem and we have the power (to) reduce the fine then we will certainly do it," the AAP leader said as reported by ANI.

The BJP had managed a clean sweep in Delhi winning all the seven seats in the capital.
Union Roads and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari had earlier said that the states can reduce the fines as per a clause already present in the new act.
