The Delhi Police stated they found MC Kode, also known as Aditya Tiwari, in Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday (9 June) as per a report in The Indian Express.
Tiwari allegedly went missing on 2 June after posting a cryptic Instagram story.
Last month a video of an old 'rap battle' at BITS Pilani in 2016 reappeared, which showed Kode, who was 17, reciting lyrics disrespectful towards Hindu scriptures.
"…If you are a Hindu, I will f*ck your Gau, I will f*ck your holy cow…I will fu*king masturbate on Mahabharata, Geeta Geeta," MC Kode says in resurfaced the video.
Following the reappearance, calls for his arrest were made on social media. He apologised on his Instagram account, stating that several brands had cancelled their contracts with him.
After he went missing, his mother Deepa Tiwari filed a missing person's report on 4 June.
"His mother told us he left his home in Saidullajab after posting a suicide note on Instagram. We found that his phone's last location was in Noida on 25 May. It was later switched off. We wrote to social media sites to provide Tiwari's account details. During the investigation, we found Tiwari was in Madhya Pradesh," a senior Delhi police officer said.
