The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had declared the Class XII examination results on their official website on 2 May, and the results were available on Digilocker on the same day.

The Digilocker is a cloud-based storage service provided by the Government of India as part of their Digital India initiative under which 1 GB of storage space is available to users to store identification cards and other documents.

The digital academic documents like mark sheets, migration certificate and pass certificate were made available on the digital locker via CBSE’s academic repository ‘Parinam Manjusha’.

Indian Certificate for Secondary Education (ICSE) has been using Digilocker to store students results from 2017.

The results, which were delivered at 12.30 PM on 2 May, recorded pass percentage of 83.4 per cent. Over 12 lakh students had appeared for the CBSE Class XII Examinations 2019.

According to a Hindustan Times report, CBSE had declared the results in a record time of 28 days for schools under all the regions.

Students were able to access their results via the CBSE websites, UMANG Mobile Platform, Google, Digilocker and its app and the Microsoft SMS organiser app.
