The President of United States (US) Donald Trump has decided to temporarily suspend immigration into the nation in an attempt to "protect the jobs of American Citizens," reports Hindustan Times.
The unprecedented decision was announced by President Trump on twitter, where he informed his followers that he will be signing an executive order to implement the move.
In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!

It should be noted that a record 22 million American nationals have already signed up for unemployment benefits over the past month, with several millions more having filed their claims in the ongoing month of April.
As a result, in arithmetic sense, all the jobs gained in the US since the Great Recession have been wiped out. The US economy is also believed to have contracted in the first quarter of 2020 at its sharpest pace since the World War II.
The COVID-19 pandemic has hit US the harshest, having infected more than 7,50,000, while having killed more than 40,500 persons. The economic crisis induced by the pandemic has further vitiated the situation.
