More than 30,000 micro, small and medium (MSME) exporters that are a part of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) will now have the opportunity to expand their digital presence by creating and managing their websites.
FIEO has entered into a partnership with RebelCorp to roll out do-it-yourself (DIY) tools so that people can produce their websites with unique templates without coding, Financial Express reports.
RebelCorp founder-cum-CEO Akash Chaturvedi explained, “The company would be designing special website templates exclusively for the exporter members of FIEO, keeping in mind that they cater to the global market and need for integrated e-commerce module at very highly subsidised subscription plans.”
As MSME exports from India shot up by 37 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to $37 billion in December 2021, a larger need for greater exposure of their businesses on the digital medium was realised.
The FIEO will also call RebelCorp over to conduct workshops and training programs so that the member exporters can own and manage their websites conveniently.
In July 2021, FIEO had tied up with Aramex India so that the organisation’s members could get preferential pricing from the logistics company and use their online services for overseas shipments.
