In a good news for Tata Sky subscribers, the DTH operator has re-enabled the recording of the ongoing India-Australia cricket matches on Sony Sports channels, after suspending it a few days ago by citing broadcaster instructions, Dream DTH has reported.

It was earlier reported that Tata Sky had suspended its recording feature on Sony's sports channels while citing restrictions imposed by the broadcaster on all SD and HD versions of Sony Six, Ten 1, Ten 3 till 19 January 2021.

Tata Sky successfully resolved the issue last night (2 December).

"Dear Subscriber, Good news! Play, pause & recording feature on your set-top box has been reinstated for SD & HD version of Sony Six, Ten1 & Ten3 channels", Tata Sky said in a statement.

As a result the cricket fans will now be able to pause record and rewind the live matches.

As per the report the issue purportedly remained restricted to Tata Sky with subscribers from other DTH platforms not reporting any such disruption.
