Google has launched a new app for food delivery and home services in India called Areo. Through the app, users can avail of local services such as restaurants, electricians, painters and more. Users can pay online using their cards or opt to pay in cash after the service is delivered. For now, the app services Bengaluru and Mumbai.
According to a FactorDaily report, Google has been testing and rolling out apps specific to India in the recent years. Starting with its Android One programme for low-cost Android smartphones in 2014, Google later released instant-messaging app Allo as well as Youtube Go last year.
