The Telangana Police on Saturday (14 December) have caught two men who allegedly kidnapped and raped an 18-year-old girl, reports Telangana Today.

The two suspects were identified as Mohammed Moosa (21), a private employee, and Mohammed Amair, an autorickshaw driver.

According to reports, the victim along with her 10-year-old sister had lost the way to their grandmother’s house on 8 December. Amair picked them up on the pretext of taking them to their grandmother’s house. Instead, he took them in his auto to his house.

The police said, “Amair confined the siblings there. Around 11 pm, his younger brother Moosa, who returned from work found the siblings in the house. He waited for the younger girl to sleep and later raped the victim.”

Next morning, Amair dropped the two girls at a secluded spot near Falaknuma railway station and fled. The girls managed to call their relatives with the help of some locals and managed to return home.

Earlier, the relatives of the two girls had approached the police on 8 December and filed missing complaint with them when the two girls did not reach home. They again reached out to the police with the two girls who narrated the entire incident to them.

The police were on the look-out for the two brothers who were finally caught on Saturday. The police also added that they have registered a case against them under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
