India Foundation, centre for study of religion and society, is holding a national seminar in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on 11 February 2017. ‘India @ 70: Integral Humanism as Way Forward’ will be held to commemorate the birth centenary year of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, in coordination with Thejas Foundation.
Freedom fighter Saraswathi Rajamani will be felicitated at the event that will begin at 3pm at Tapovan Auditorium, Chinmaya Heritage Centre, No 2, 13th Avenue, Harrington Road, Chetpet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Eminent speakers at the seminar will be L Ganesan, MP, Rajya Sabha; Ram Madhav, national general secretary, BJP and director, India Foundation; C R Mukunda, deputy in-charge, intellectual wing, RSS; M Jagadesh Kumar, vice-chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Panelists will include Aravindan Neelakandan, contributing editor, Swarajya and author; M R Venkatesh, economist and chartered accountant; S P Singh, professor, Delhi University; and K S Yashaswini, public policy professional.
