The Indian Air Force (IAF) has submitted satellite images to the Central government which prove that the Balakot air strikes were a success, India Today has reported.

As per the report, the IAF has determined that 80 per cent of the bombs hit their targets during the strikes. The IAF has also reportedly prepared a dossier which refutes the allegations that the bombs missed their intended targets.

The report states that the Mirage 2000 aircraft dropped penetration warhead bombs which pierced the roofs and caused a lot of internal damage.

This dossier reportedly contains 12 pages of high-resolution satellite imagery and synthetic aperture radar imagery captured by Indian intelligence aircraft.

Incidentally, soon after the air strikes Pakistan claimed that all the bombs were dropped in the jungle, which was also parroted by others.

The IAF Chief B S Dhanoa rubbished this claim by rhetorically asking why would have Imran Khan have responded if they would have dropped bombs in the jungle.

“If we plan to hit the target, we hit the target”, the IAF Chief had added.
