Sunayana Dumala, the wife of the Indian engineer who was killed in a shooting in Kansas City, has said in a Facebook post that her husband Srinivas Kuchibhotla ‘enjoyed Arnab Goswami’ and was ‘very proud’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India.
Talking about his liking for Modi, she said Kuchibhotla “was sure that India had finally found the leader that could make India shine. This might seem unreal, but I know because there wasn’t a day that ended without him watching the news or reading multiple newspapers before going to bed,” Dumala wrote on Facebook.
He enjoyed watching Goswami’s show in the lunch time and was waiting for him to make a comeback to the small screen, she has said.
Kuchibhotla, 32, an employee of GPS-maker Garmin, was killed when US navy veteran Adam Purinton opened fire after shouting “get out of my country”. His colleague, Alok Madasani, 32, was also injured. Purinton has been charged with one count of premeditated first-degree murder and two counts of attempted premeditated first-degree murder.
