Indians Most Hard Working In World: Happy With 5-Day Week, Says Study

India makes it to the top as the most hard working country in the world, according to a study conducted in the United States of America. 69 per cent of full-time employees in India are apparently happy with the 5-day workweek, the report says.

Mexico came second with 43 per cent, followed by the United States at 27 per cent. Among the least content countries with the 5-day work standard are United Kingdom, France and Australia, All India Radio News reported.

The survey was conducted among 2,700 full-time and part-time employees residing in Australia, France, Canada, India, Germany, Mexico, the UK and the US. 49 per cent of the employees in the US clock overtime, and it stands leading the list with more than 40 hours each week. India came in second at 44 per cent, Mexico at 40 per cent and Germany with 38 per cent.
