Infosys Expanding Its Global Footprint: After Indianapolis And North Carolina, US To See Third New Tech Hub In Texas

Infosys has revealed plans to set up a technology hub by 2020 in Texas, USA. The hub, which is expected to be located at Richardson in the Dallas county, will be staffed with 500 American workers, as reported by Business Insider India.

“The new hub will drive expansion and create jobs in Texas to reinforce our commitment to workforce development in the US,” said the Bengaluru-based IT major. “Digital is changing every industry, and our hubs will allow us to co-locate, co-innovate and co-create alongside our clients,” the company’s COO (Chief Operating Officer) stated.

The company, which is highly regarded for its outsourcing services, has made strategic investments to prepare itself for emerging technologies like AI (Artificial Intelligence), Machine Learning, IoT (Internet of Things) etc. In this regard, it has already opened two new tech hubs in the USA, one in Indianapolis and the other in North Carolina.
