Instagram Influencer Sofia Cheung Dies After Falling Off A Waterfall Whilst Clicking A Selfie

Hong Kong-based Instagram influencer Sofia Cheung passed away whilst capturing a selfie at a waterfall in the Ha Pak Lai park on Saturday.

The 32-year-old was accompanied by a couple of her friends on the retreat where Cheung decided to take a picture at the Pineapple Mountain site of the park, which is situated at the edge of the waterfall, New York Post reports.

However, she lost her balance and straightaway fell into the 16-foot pool underneath upon which she was taken to the hospital as her friends urgently called for emergency help.

However, the lady was right away declared dead on arrival.

Reportedly, Cheung frequently visited such steep cliffs and even used to put captions such as, “Life should be fun not dumb.”

Moreover, her last posted picture on 9^th July was of the lady sitting in the surf whilst holding a boogie board. The caption of that picture was, “Better Days are coming. They are called: Saturday and Sunday,” something that seems to have disheartened scores of her followers on the popular social media platform.
