Islamic State Claims Responsibility For Las Vegas Attack That Killed More Than 50 And Left 400 Injured

The Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the terror attack that left at least 50 people dead and another 400 injured at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas early on Monday (2 October), and claimed that the attacker had converted to Islam a few months ago, reports Reuters.

"The Las Vegas attack was carried out by a soldier of the Islamic State and he carried it out in response to calls to target states of the coalition”, said Amaq, the Islamic State’s mouth said in reference to the US-led coalition fighting the terror outfit in the Middle East.

"The Las Vegas attacker converted to Islam a few months ago”, said Amaq.
