Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu Encourages People To Adopt India’s Namaste To Avoid Coronavirus Spread

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while addressing his nation on Wednesday (4 March) urged his fellow citizens to avoid handshakes and instead adopt Namaste - the Indian way of greeting.

This he said would be effective in mitigating the spread of Coronavirus by avoiding social bodily contact.

Various world leaders have swung into precautionary more urging their people to undertake basic precautions to protect themselves from a potential Coronavirus infection.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi too shared a list of such measures which included regularly washing hands, covering nose while sneezing and avoiding touching nose, mouth and eyes.
