The security forces on Wednesday (24 November) eliminated three terrorists in an encounter in Srinagar.
The three slain terrorists have been identified as Mehraan Yaseen Shalla, Arafat Ahmad Sheikh and Manzoor Ahmad Mir.
Mehraan Yaseen Shalla was the commader of TRF, a front of the Pakistani terror outfit Lashkar in the valley.
Shalla was involved in the killing of Sikh principal Supinder Kaur and Hindu teacher Deepak Chand.
The two school teachers were shot at point blank range on 7 October. Both of them were rushed to the hospital, where they were declared brought dead.

He was also involved in grenade attack in Srinagar on 26 June this year, in which one civilian was killed and three others got injured.
Mehraan Yaseen along with his other associates also killed PSI Arshad Ahmad Mir who was returning back to police station Khanyaar in Srinagar after getting medical checkup of an accused.
