The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) youth wing Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) will be publishing a book on the ‘Urban Naxal’ phenomenon ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha elections, The Hindu has reported.
BJYM president Poonam Mahajan said that the organisation had set up several study circles in the course of her tenure. The book, authored by BJYM office-bearer Digvijay Singh, was a result of the ground research and discussions in one of the study circle.
“The book is a product of our study circle discussions and research, it consists of nine chapters written by various people who did ground research. It is likely to be published in March,” Poonam Mahajan said.
The content of the book will also deal with the impact of left-wing ideologies in urban areas, especially in universities. It will also cover Pune University which had come into the limelight in the wake of Bhima Koregaon violence.
