KSRTC’s Diwali Gift To Bengaluru: 1500 Extra Buses Will Ply To Handle Festival Rush

To handle the Diwali rush which will be celebrated from November 6 to 8, KSRTC will deploy 1,500 extra buses in addition to the existing ones.

Special buses will ply from various bus stations. The first one will be from Bengaluru Kempegowda Bus Station to Dharmastala, Kukkesubramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangalore, Hubli, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppala, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupati and other places.

The second route will be from Mysore Road Bus Station towards Mysore, Hunsur, Virajpet, Kushalnagar, Madikeri, etc.

The other bus stations from where the special buses will ply are, Sri Basaveshwara Bus Station, Vijayanagara, Jayanagar 4th Block, Jalahalli Cross, Navarang (Rajajinagar), Malleswaram 18th Cross, Banashankari, Jeevanbimanagar, ITI Gate, Ganganagar, Kengeri Satellite Town to Shivamogga, Davangere, Tirupathi, Mangaluru, Dharmastala and other places based on the demand as reported by Deccan Chronicle.

In addition to special buses, there is also a range of premier special buses which will ply from Shanthinagar to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Trichy, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and other places in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Bookings for the special buses can be done in advance with the help of computerised reservations. The bus station from where the passengers will board the special buses will be mentioned on their tickets.
