In a positive development, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power and New and Renewable Energy RK Singh has stated on record that the government is targeting that Andaman & Nicobar, and Lakshadweep Islands should be able to meet their total energy requirement from renewable energy sources, reports Hindu Businessline.
