Madhya Pradesh: I-T Officials Raid CM Kamal Nath’s Aide’s House, Discover Loads Of Cash Hidden In Suitcases

With the first phase of Lok Sabha elections within a week away, the Income Tax officials raided the house of a close aide of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, reports ANI.

In an early morning raid that took happened at 3 am on Sunday, officials searched the house of Praveen Kakkar, in an upscale locality in Indore.

“The officials are is conducting searches at 50 locations. Searches are underway at locations of MP Chief Minister’s OSD, Ratul Puri, Amira Group, & Moser Bayer. Searches also underway in Bhoola, Indore, Goa & 35 locations in Delhi. More than 300 I-T officials conducting them,” ANI quoted sources as saying.

Madhya Pradesh goes to exercise it’s franchise across four phases the LS elections -- from 29 April to 19 May. With 29 LS seats at stake, leaders across all political parties are are pushed to campaign hard to seek votes.
