The momentum of 2020 US Presidential Election results now appears to be shifting in the favour of former vice-president and democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has now taken a slender lead in Michigan and Wisconsin, where Trump was leading for a long period of time.
A New York Times (NYT) projection currently gives 227 electoral college votes to Biden and 213 votes to Trump with the magic number being 270.
As a result, the states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona and Nevada are now considered key for a candidate's road to the White House.
As per latest data by NYT, Biden is leading in Wisconsin by 0.7 percentage points with 97 per cent of votes counted and is also leading in Michigan by 0.2 percentage points with 90 percent of the votes being counted.
Biden is also leading in Arizona by 5 percentage points - 82 per cent of the votes have been counted in the state so far. He is also leading in Nevada.
US President Donald Trump on the other hand is leading in North Carolina, Georgia and Pennsylvania.
