The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) services across the city were affected on Monday morning (11 February), claim reports.
According to officials from the CMRL, only a portion of the stretch was affected, TNM reported. “There is a slight delay in the Little Mount to Airport stretch. All other stretches are functioning properly. There is a technical snag, and we are attending to it. It will take another half hour to one hour to resolve. There is no problem in OHE. We are trying to identify the problem,” a Metro official said.
Due to technical glitch, train services between AG-DMS and Airport via Little Mount in Blue Line are running with delayed frequency.

Initially, it was reported that the delays were due to Over Head Equipment (OHE) issues affecting commuters who were using the metro for long distance travel. One of the commuters took to Twitter to share his discomfort.
