Latest update: Around 64 per cent of the total vote is now being reported from Texas and Trump appears to have a lead by 0.1 per cent therein.
According to USA Today, of the vote counted so far in Texas, Trump got 49.4 per cent while Biden, 49.3 per cent.
Trump has picked up most of the rural counties in Texas while urban centres like Austin appear to go for Biden.

More than 50 per cent of the total votes have been reported from Texas so far and Democrat Joe Biden is marginally ahead of Donald Trump in that race.
According to USA Today, at the time of writing, Biden had received 49.6 per cent of the votes, and Trump had got 49.1 per cent.
Texas holds 38 electoral college votes of the total 270 needed by either candidate to be declared the winner.
Texas was last won by a Democrat candidate in 1976 when Jimmy Carter defeated the incumbent Gerald Ford to eventually enter the White House.
Observers of American politics say that while Texas may not be a must-win state for Biden, it is for Trump.
