Today (26 December) various astronomy buffs were eagerly awaiting a chance to view to the solar eclipse and one of them was Prime Minster Narendra Modi.
After attempting to view the eclipse, Prime Minister Modi informed that he sadly could not see the eclipse in person due to heavy cloud cover but viewed it on live stream. He also posted photos of him staring at the sky, in search of the eclipse.
Like many Indians, I was enthusiastic about #solareclipse2019.

Unfortunately, I could not see the Sun due to cloud cover but I did catch glimpses of the eclipse in Kozhikode and other parts on live stream. Also enriched my knowledge on the subject by interacting with experts. pic.twitter.com/EI1dcIWRIz
After viewing these photos, a popular twitter user who goes under the pseudonym “Gappistan Radio”, joked that one of the photos will soon become a meme.
