MP: Shivraj Govt To Honour Police, Home Guard Personnel With 'Karmaveer Yoddha' Medal For Services During Corona Pandemic

All the policemen and Home Guard personnel, who worked hard during the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, in Madhya Pradesh would be honoured with the 'Karmaveer Yoddha Medal'.

In an order issued by the state home department, Deputy Secretary Preeti Yadav said, "The police and Home Guards, its officials or employees, fought together against the Covid-19 pandemic. The officials and employees, who did excellent work in this critical situation, would be awarded with the 'Karmaveer Yoddha Medal'."

Along with the medal, certificates would be also given to the officials and other personnel. The state home department has given necessary instructions to the Director Generals of Police and Home Guards, and the Civil Defence authority.

Meanwhile, MP Home Minister Narottam Mishra on Tuesday (2 February) lauded the efforts of police and medical personnel during the Covid-19 pandemic. He said that the medal will be awarded to all the Corona warriors of the state's police and health department.

Mishra added that the medal would be given to the state's Corona warriors in February.
