Sharpening his attack on political opponents, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that those who are frustrated by BJP’s unrelenting stance on revoking Article 370 and Article 35A are supporting the two prime minister theory out sheer frustration, reports Hindustan Times.

This comes in an apparent reaction to National Conference (NC) leader Omar Abdullah and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Mehbooba Mufti’s remarks, that had warned against consequences should the discriminatory provisions be repealed.

“If you are talking about two prime ministers in the country, what options are left before us than taking a call on 370 & 35A? We have a clear view on these matters and we are committed to implement them, irrespective of what political parties have to say” said the senior BJP leader.

In an election rally in Vidarbha earlier, Singh asserted, “If Indira Gandhi could be praised for the 1971 war victory, PM Narendra Modi too deserved appreciation for avenging the Pulwama attacks.”

Furthering his verbal assault on the Congress led opposition that asked for the proof of Balakot attacks, Rajnath said, “the brave don’t count bodies, only vultures do.”

Elaborating on the minimum assured income promised by Congress, if voted to power, Rajnath Singh took to finer details of the proposed NYAY scheme and called it a mere hogwash.

“Congress have put conditions such as you get benefit of this scheme only if your income is less than Rs 12,000. It has promised to only provide for amount that is short of Rs 12,000. If a family has an income of Rs 11,500, then such families will only get Rs 500. This is an eyewash. They can afford to do this because they know they are not going to come to power,” said Singh.
