The Covid-19 tally in Odisha saw the addition of 67 more cases raising the total number of positive cases in the state to 1,660, said the health department on Thursday (28 May).
As many as seven people have died in the state due to the Covid-19 so far.
With this, the active cases in the state stood at 841 while 812 persons have recovered so far.
Ganjam district has reported the highest 394 Covid-19 positive cases so far, followed by 253 infections in Jajpur, 139 in Balasore, 110 in Khurdha, 106 in Bhadrak, 86 in Cuttack, 85 in Puri, 61 in Kendrapada, 57 in Nayagarh, 56 in Balangir, 49 in Jagatsinghpur, 39 in Sundargarh, 33 in Boudh, 25 in Angul, 24 in Deogarh, and 21 in Keonjhar.
Other districts that have reported under 20 cases include Malkangiri (19), Mayurbhanj (16), Kalahandi (15), Nuapada (14), Kandhamal (13), Gajapati (10), Sambalpur (7), Koraput (7), Dhenkanal (7), Jharsuguda (6), Sonepur (5), Baragarh (2), Nawarangpur (1).
