Owing to his ‘efforts’ to de-escalate resent tension with India, a resolution has been submitted in the Pakistan parliament to endorse Prime Minister Imran Khan for the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize as reported by Indian Express.
The resolution was submitted by Minister of Information Fawad Chaudhry on 2 March (Saturday) in the Secretariat of National Assembly, which is the lower house and the resolution stated that PM Khan’s decision of releasing Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan has de-escalated the hostility between Pakistan and India and said that Khan “deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.”
The resolution is to be taken up on 4 March (Monday) when it is scheduled to convene its session.
