Piyush Goyal, One Of The Top Performers Of Previous Government, Takes Oath As Minister

Senior BJP leader Piyush Goyal who was largely considered as one of the best ministers in the previous Narendra Modi led NDA government, today (30 May) took oath as a minister in the Modi government 2.0.

Piyush Goyal served as a Power and Railways Minister in the earlier government before also taking temporary charge as Finance Minister. Goyal was credited with overseeing electricity connectivity to each and every village in India. The project which was soon broadened to include all the households in the country.

He was also credited for bringing in a breath of fresh air in the Railway Ministry and oversaw the induction of India’s fastest train - Vande Bharat Express.
