ISRO Chief K Sivan who led India’s most ambitious space project till date Chandrayaan 2 described Prime Minister Narendra Modi an inspiration and a source of support to him and other scientists and revealed his favourite part from his speech.

K Sivan added that his favourite bit from Prime Minister Modi’s speech was, “Science should not be looked for results,but for experiments&experiments will lead to results”.
Sivan a son of a poor farmer who rose the scientific ranks to become the ISRO chief was famously consoled by Prime Minister Modi as he was leaving the ISRO space monitoring centre.

This gesture by Prime Minister Modi was universally praised for its sensitivity and moral support and became one of the most iconic moments of the Chandrayaan 2 mission.
