The Man Vs Wild episode on 12 August featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the world’s most trending televised event with a whopping 3.6 billion impressions. The episode thus beat the earlier record of 3.4 billion impressions held by Super Bowl 53.
The show’s host Bear Grylls made the aforementioned claims and thanked all the viewers for the response.

As per Grylls, the episode also became the number 1 trending topic on Twitter both in India and worldwide.
In the episode, Prime Minister Modi while raising awareness over wildlife conservation and promoting India as a wildlife tourism destination, walked through the grasslands of Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand, sat on a makeshift raft and held a spear.
Prime Minister Modi also recollected his childhood memories and spoke about how nature shaped his early formative years. In the end, Grylls and Modi shared a selfie before going their separate ways.
