Jana Sena senior party leader and former Congress speaker of United Andhra Pradesh Nadendla Manohar, reiterated that the party is going to contest in all 175 assembly constituencies of Andhra Pradesh in the forthcoming elections, reports Hans India.
Manohar announced that the party would contest in all 175 seats on 1 May 2018.
Manohar said that youth would be given priority in the seat allocation, with the leaders who worked hard for the party be given preference and provided with political opportunities.
The party chief Pawan Kalyan, who had taken up a yatra (tour) in the state, aims to realise his party’s aim of achieving the right of every common man.
The Jana Sena was recently allotted a glass tumbler as its party logo with its chief and founder Pawan Kalyan having earlier made the announcement of contesting the elections.
My wholehearted thanks to âElection commissionâ for giving us âGlass Tumblerâ as our Party symbol. Personally for me that âGlass Tumblerâ has many memories from my childhood and itâs common manâ s identity in our country. pic.twitter.com/hoIZ5oF4nl

Jana Sena is a party started by former Telugu star Pawan Kalyan on 14 March 2014. Called ‘Power Star’ by his fans, the actor - known for his rebellious attitude and a fan of Che Guevara, was a huge draw at the box office.
The party’s entrance into the poll fray may lead to a triangular contest in 2019, with TDP and YSRCP being the other contenders.
